One or Two High-Step Days May Reduce Mortality Risks

Updated: Sep 12

Many people I know who tried getting 10,000 steps every day didn't succeed. They got frustrated, felt bad, and gave up. A new study in JAMA Open Network of 3000 people found that 8,000 steps 1 to 2 days a week were linked to a significant reduction in all-cause and cardiovascular mortality (deaths). So keep trying and don't give up. Exercise is sooo good for us.
