A study by Wang published in Alzheimer's & Dementia, suggests that semaglutide (Ozempic), a medication for type 2 diabetes and obesity, may significantly reduce the risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease (AD). Patients taking semaglutide were found to have 40% to 70% lower odds of an AD diagnosis compared to those on other diabetes medications.

The good news is that these findings held true for people of all ages, genders, and body types, showing that we have some control over our brain health.
